1. Can it meet 504/IEP accommodations? If so, how?

Yes. Better Choices Education is designed to support 504 and IEP accommodations.

2. What is the reading level of the writing in the modules?

The reading level is age-appropriate for each audience—middle school modules and high school modules are written separately to ensure developmental alignment.

3. Because you would have access to some student info, would you sign our data privacy agreement?

Yes. We will sign your district's Data Privacy Agreement.

4. Can your program produce a parent-led document that parents can view showing the results of their child? If not, could it be added?

Yes. We already support parent notifications for assigned modules and completed modules.

5. Are the modules behavior-specific (e.g., disrespect, fighting, social media misuse, vaping, bullying, etc.)?

Yes. We offer a catalog of behavior-specific modules addressing a wide range of topics, including disrespect, fighting, social media misuse, vaping, bullying, academic integrity, classroom disruption, and more.

6. Can data results be pulled to show things like repeat offenders and provide proof of practice with your program?

Yes. The system tracks student usage, module completion, response data, and behavioral history.

7. If a student returns to ISI and needs to redo a module, how does that module and the questions change or adjust?

Modules are available in multiple levels specifically designed for repeat offenders.

8. Is there a dashboard for our ISI person to monitor the workflow of students live?

Yes. We provide a real-time monitoring dashboard that allows staff to see student progress live, including:

10. What is a brief description of the program?

The program is designed to provide students with constructive education around behavioral missteps, fostering accountability and personal growth. It emphasizes how individual actions impact not only the student but also their school environment and broader community.

The curriculum integrates restorative components, social-emotional learning (SEL) strategies, and guided self-reflection to promote meaningful understanding and behavioral change. They are designed to provide easy communication with the teacher about follow up and/or the parents if you so choose to use those options.
